ORIENS

THE TERROIR

Unlike the lower terraces,
This high-altitude vineyard grants the Muscat a razor-sharp verticality.
The cool mountain breeze ensures natural aeration, keeping the vines healthy and dry, while the eastern exposure bathes the grapes in the morning sun.

This gentle light maximises photosynthesis without heat stress, allowing for slow, perfect phenolic maturity that preserves the electric acidity and the distinct aromatic intensity of the Terroir.

THE VINIFICATION

Honouring the Samos tradition
of concrete fermentation,
we evolved from standard tanks
to Concrete Eggs. We collect
and vinify the free-run juice without pressing to capture only
the purest heart of the grape.

The egg’s geometry induces
a natural vortex, keeping the fine lees in constant suspension without mechanical interference.

This builds a creamy texture and volume, while preserving the fruit's raw, mineral energy. Zero additives, zero sulphites

Chef’s Pairing

This wine demands raw seafood.
Pair it with sea urchin, raw oysters or
Carpaccio of white fish with lime zest

With a razor-sharp acidity and a low pH
Oriens acts like a squeeze of crystalline lemon,
cutting through the richness of the seafood.
Simultaneously, the Schist terroir mirrors the ocean's salinity, amplifying the natural sweetness
of the shellfish while leaving the palate
electrically clean.
