of the pass. I had the opportunity to be on both sides."

Vassilis Alexiou spent 14 years running his restaurant in the Marais, Paris — building wine lists from growers working with low-intervention farming before the category had a name or a market.

 

He returned to Samos in 2016 to produce the wines himself, on the schist and quartz terraces of Mount Karvounis where his family had farmed for generations.

You will sit at the winemaker's table for a private 6-course degustation. Each dish is designed to

unlock the architecture of a different Philia wine — discussing the why behind every pairing.

- Wines from concrete eggs and clay amphorae — Oriens, Omnis, Augustus, Fokiano


- Discussion of acidity, minerality, and how Samos terroir interacts with texture

Private Vineyard Walk & Premium Tasting

A guided walk through centenarian vines at 850m altitude on Mount Karvounis, where you touch

the white quartz and schist that give Philia wines their signature tension. The experience concludes

with a tasting at the source.
